Getting Started

	The Road

So in the spring of 1998, we decided to hit the road again. The planning was pretty difficult, because Rebecca had some exams (this is a running gag) and there was also the Easter holiday with no flights available and so on, and we were actually pretty surprised when we woke up in a Motel 6 next to the Los Angeles airport.

So surprised, that I left my tripod in the driveway when packing the car, but that's another story (had to buy a new one in Las Vegas, retrieved my trusty beaten-up old one on my way back, three weeks later after a dozen phone calls).
