Back Across the Sierra

	Owen's Lake

	Mt. Whitney

Further West the majestic chain of the Sierra Nevada. I wonder when we will have the honor of visiting its lakes and meadows again.We drove past Mt. Whitney, up 395 and crossed the mountains at Monitor Pass where we spent a moment in silence to commemorate all the bicycling sweat that we spent thereabouts.

That was it and soon after we were sitting on that plane across the Atlantic again.
