Where in the Mountains is Dr. E.?

Look at the fun assortment of pictures of Dr. E. below. These pictures were extracted in painstaking detail work, from one of the eight full color photographs seen at the bottom of this handsome web page. The game now consists of matching the figures of Dr. E. with the photograph from which it was extracted. While this task does require a certain amount of forensic skills, it should be possible to be solved by any healthy web sufer within a non-absurd period of time.
