We stop for groceries in North Las Vegas. It's absolutely depressing to see how low the human being has sunken when they shop for food in these huge cheap supermarkets. They didn't have Knorr soup. Can't wait to get outside and into the wilderness.

Arrive in the Valley of Fire in the late morning and pick our campsite, trying to avoid the RV maniacs with their engines and generators and what not. It's warm and we enjoy the sun. After some exploring we finally find the nice spot in this park. Hard to get away from the people though. After a glowing sunset we cook couscous. All the new gear works fine.
