Several things are on display here for public scrutiny and enlightenment:
  • Geraldine went through interesting phase transitions around 200 days and then again around 470 days, which does not follow the textbooks at all, which again is pretty normal.
  • With our second girl Amélie we obviously figured out a few things and she's growing like crazy. This begs the question if this would extrapolate to a third girl.
  • We have better things to do these days than to measure and survey our girls and consequently the data points are increasingly sparse as time unfolds.
  • Against common wisdom, it is indeed possible to create decent looking graphics with Microsoft Excel if you care to fiddle around with the options long enough.
  • This chart sports a stylish retro look because it is an hommage to the guy who invented it all back at the turn of the 19th century: William Playfair.
Who are the girls anyway? There is Geraldine and there is Amélie and they have home pages.
