Getting There

Nothing special to report. First I cried for a while, just to make sure. Then I slept for a few hours here and there, and then I woke up on the knees of funny Shawn. Where am I?

The good thing about flying these days is, that everybody is really nice and wants you to come back soon. All the lines are short, e.g. at immigrations in San Francisco they had almost one lane per person. I couldn't decide yet what I dislike most about travelling though. I guess it's taking a full shuttle bus to the rental car place with all the baggage and stuff, and then having the guy at the desk trying to upgrade you to a convertible and trying to sell all sorts of unnecessary insurances. Good thing I slept right through it.

At the new place I slept well. But when I woke up and started to tell them about my dreams and what I would like to do today, everybody went shhhhhh and talked funny things about "jet lag" and "it's only 3 am" and so on. After a couple of hours I got tired of it and slept some more.
